Visa Information

It is imperative that authors and attendees allow sufficient time to obtain visas. The time to obtain visas can vary widely. An interview at a consulate may also be required.

A valid visa to enter China is required for participants from non-PRC nations. You should contact the Chinese Embassy in your country. More information about types of and the process of applying for a Chinese visa can be found on the China Consular Service Network.

Invitation Letters

Conference attendees who require a visa will typically need an invitation letter from the General Chairs. To expedite the process, please provide as many of the following pieces of information as possible in your request.

If you are an author on an accepted paper, please include:

• the paper title
• your affiliation (department and university or company)
• affiliation address
• job title
• official contact email address

If you are not an author on an accepted paper, please include:

• an up-to-date Curriculum Vitae (CV) that includes, if applicable, a list of publications
• a brief statement explaining your interests in the conference
• a list of any recent IACR conferences you have attended
• a reference in the crypto community who has attended past IACR conferences
