register for the conference agree to abide by the
IACR code of conduct.
What the conference fee includes
The conference registration fee includes participation in the technical program, all social functions (including a reception in the evening on 8 December, rump session, banquet, etc), as well as an electronic copy of the conference proceedings.
The affiliated event registration fee for non-Asiacrypt attendees includes participation in all affiliated event technical programs and tea break/lunch for the day (Monday, 8 December), and also the conference's welcome reception which is at a separate venue in the evening on 8 December. It does not include participation in the main conference's all other activities from 9 December (Tuesday) to 12 December (Friday). Registering for only the affiliated events will not let you become an IACR member; no IACR dues are included in that price.
Important note for students
If you are a student presenting at Asiacrypt 2025, your registration fee will be covered by the Cryptography Research Fund for Student Presenters. Please contact the general chair before registering to obtain a registration waiver token. If you are a student presenting at Asiacrypt 2025, your registration fee will be covered by the Cryptography Research Fund for Student Presenters. Please submit the form before registering to obtain a registration waiver token. In the form, please indicate whether your IACR dues have been paid by registering to an IACR conference earlier in 2025. Notice that this funding does not cover student presenters at the affiliated events.
A limited number of stipends will be available to students who are unable to obtain funding to attend the conference. Students in under-represented groups are especially encouraged to apply. The student stipend page has more information.
Additional information
Costs indicated above are US$, not AU$. There is no Australian GST induced for the registration fee, as the IACR is a nonprofit and does not meet the threshold required for assessing tax.
IACR dues are US$80 for regular attendees and US$40 for student attendees. It is not possible to gain IACR membership by attending only the affiliated events.
All attendees who register on or after 1 November 2025 will incur a late registration surcharge. These charges are reflected in the above registration table.
Fee for an accompanying guest is $200, which includes participation in the welcome reception, the rump session, and the banquet.
Proceedings will be made available online to attendees.
Refund policy
Cancellation requests should be made in email to the conference general chair. Those received by 30 days prior to the conference will receive a full refund, less $150 to cover fixed costs for the conference. No refunds will be made for cancellations after this date.
